In-Home and Personal Care supports are aimed at clients who prefer a home-based service model that facilitates independence while ensuring that necessary assistance is available for daily living activities. This category includes Personal Assistance and Respite Care services.

a. Personal Assistance

Service Description Personal Assistance services empower individuals to live in their own homes while receiving personalized support in essential daily activities. These supports are tailored to the individual’s specific needs and are designed to foster independence, dignity, and effective management of personal care. Assistance with Daily Living: – Help with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. • Medication Management: – Supervision of medication schedules, reminders, and ensure proper adherence. • Household Management: – Assistance with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and maintenance of a safe living environment. • To enhance clients’ independence and quality of life. • To enable individuals to remain in their own homes by providing customized support for personal needs. • To ensure that support is delivered in a manner that respects the client’s preferences and dignity. • To facilitate a smooth transition between autonomous activities and assisted living as required.
