Service Description Supported Employment services are designed to aid individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in obtaining, retaining, and succeeding in competitive employment. These services focus on job readiness, vocational training, and ongoing employment support tailored to each individual’s capabilities and aspirations. Vocational Training: – Programs include training on work-related skills, resume development, and interview preparation. • Job Coaching and On-Site Support: – Direct support professionals and vocational specialists provide both pre- employment coaching and on-the-job assistance. • Partnership with Employers: – Collaboration with local employers helps identify opportunities and provides job placement support. • Career Advancement: – Services also focus on long-term career development, including periodic reviews and further vocational training as needed. •
