SAMPLE POLICY WORK

Scope: This role covers all agency staff and serves as a point of reference for internal communication and external regulatory bodies. The CEO provides guidance that impacts every aspect of the agency, from strategic planning to day-to-day management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Oversight: Direct the overall strategic vision and operational priorities of the agency, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and CAC Waiver requirements. • Decision Making: Evaluate and authorize major initiatives and policy changes that affect agency operations. • Compliance & Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, including TennCare representatives and external auditors. • Financial Accountability: Oversee fiscal management, ensuring efficient budget allocation and resource distribution. • Organizational Leadership: Mentor and guide executive-level staff and ensure that leadership practices promote transparent communication and ethical conduct. • Communication: Lead interdepartmental meetings and communications to foster an environment of shared responsibility and alignment.

Director of Care Services: Jarom Mecham

Purpose: The Director of Care Services is responsible for overseeing all care delivery programs and ensuring that person-centered care remains at the forefront of service provision. This role is integral to implementing operational policies that support compliance, quality care, and consistent service delivery. Policy Statement: The Director of Care Services is tasked with managing and guiding the care service teams. They ensure that care plans are developed and implemented in accordance with regulatory standards and that day-to-day operations meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. Scope: This role applies to all departments involved with direct care, including direct support professionals, care coordinators, and supervisory staff. The Director’s decisions are reflected across care planning, incident management, and quality improvement initiatives.
