Scope
This policy applies to all Simpl Care Services LLC employees, regardless of their position or level of responsibility. It is relevant to:
• Executive leadership and management teams responsible for supervisory oversight. • Care service directors, direct support professionals, clinical staff, administrative personnel, and IT specialists. • Contractors, consultants, and other individuals providing services under the agency’s control. • It also serves as a reference for external auditors, regulatory bodies (including TennCare representatives), and stakeholders interested in understanding the agency’s internal oversight and staff development processes.

Robust supervision is the cornerstone of our commitment to high ‑ quality, person ‑ centered care. Our supervision policies ensure that all staff are supported through individualized guidance, team-based feedback, and observation of daily practice.
Regular Supervision
Purpose: To ensure staff consistency, accountability, and professional growth by providing regular, structured supervision through individual and group sessions, as well as direct observation. Policy Statement: All staff will receive regular supervision through a multifaceted approach that includes:

Individual Supervision: • Conducted at least monthly or as required for new employees or those facing performance challenges. • Focuses on personal development, review of individual performance against established goals, and discussion of clinical and operational challenges. Group Supervision: • Scheduled on a monthly or bi ‑ monthly basis, especially for teams working in similar service areas (e.g., residential supports, day supports, therapy teams). • Provides a forum for shared learning, best practice dissemination, peer feedback, and collaborative problem ‑ solving.
