b. Emergency Plans for Various Scenarios Our emergency plans are tailored to address a full range of potential emergencies. Specific procedures are developed for each scenario to ensure that every client and staff member remains protected.

Natural Disasters

Fire: • Purpose: Ensuring rapid evacuation, minimizing exposure to smoke and flames, and safeguarding critical records and infrastructure. • Procedures: – Immediate activation of the fire alarm system upon detection. – Clear designated primary and secondary evacuation routes. For example, in facility settings, floor-specific stairways and adjacent safe zones are identified on large evacuation maps. – Each building has marked exit signs that are clearly visible and illuminated. – Clients with disabilities receive additional assistance with designated assembly points that are outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. – Fire drills are conducted quarterly. – A fire warden is assigned in every building whose role is to oversee evacuations, assist individuals with disabilities, and liaise with emergency services. – The emergency action plan includes guidelines for shutting down critical utilities (gas, electric) if time permits. Tornado: • Purpose: To protect all personnel from high winds, flying debris, and potential structural collapse by moving them to the safest available location. • Procedures: – Upon tornado warning notification from weather alerts or governmental agencies, the alarm is activated and a “Tornado Watch” is announced over the public address system. – Primary evacuations direct everyone to an identified “safe room” inside the building— a windowless, low-lying area, preferably on the lowest floor. – Secondary routes are prepared for those unable to access the designated safe areas; these may include interior hallways or specially reinforced rooms. – Staff are trained to help individuals with limited mobility and other disabilities promptly move to secure areas. – Tornado drills are performed semi-annually, and real-time updates are provided via our internal emergency notification system integrated with local weather services. Purpose: To minimize risk from rising water levels and structural damage by pre- emptively evacuating vulnerable areas and securing essential operational equipment. • Procedures: – Flood warnings trigger immediate activation of the emergency response protocol.
