Purpose Statement The purpose of our Emergency Preparedness policy is to create and maintain a state- of-the-art emergency management system that minimizes risk, protects lives, and maintains service continuity during emergencies. We aim to: • Ensure that every individual, from clients to staff, is safe during emergencies. • Establish clear procedures for responding to natural disasters, medical emergencies, and security threats. • Develop standardized evacuation routes, robust communication protocols, and well- structured staff training programs. • Foster a culture of proactive preparedness and continuous improvement through regular drills and evaluations. • Meet or exceed the regulatory requirements of the Tennessee CAC Waiver (TN.0357.R05.00), TennCare guidelines, and other applicable state and federal mandates. Scope This policy applies to all Simpl Care Services LLC facilities, including our headquarters in Heber City, TN. (where applicable) and our operating locations in Nashville and other service areas. It encompasses every staff member — from executive leadership and care service directors to direct support professionals, administrative personnel, and IT and quality assurance teams.
